Disney has revealed that a new documentary film, called "Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band," is set to premiere on Disney+ and Hulu this autumn. This spellbinding documentary will provide viewers with an unprecedented insight into the creation of the iconic band's legendary live performances during their 2023-2024 world tour.

The movie will delve into the intricacies of their pre-tour preparations, tag along during their global treks as they electrify fans in front of massive crowds, and showcase exclusive footage of rehearsals and backstage moments. Furthermore, Bruce Springsteen himself will share his thoughts, and rare archival clips of The E Street Band will be showcased, illustrating themes of life, loss, existence, and unity.

This compelling project was overseen by Springsteen's long-time collaborator, acclaimed director Thom Zimny, who has previously collaborated with the acclaimed performer on "Springsteen on Broadway."

Springsteen and The E Street Band launched their most recent excursion in February of 2023, but in September, the 74-year-old icon had to postpone over 20 shows as he recuperated from a battle with "peptic ulcer disease." The band is now in the midst of the international segment of their tour, scheduled to conclude in November.

This touring phenomenon has enjoyed a long esteemed career, and is renowned for hit songs like "Born in the U.S.A.," "Streets of Philadelphia," and "Born to Run," among many other timeless classics.

"Road Diary" is scheduled to make its debut in October, but the precise release date is still under wraps.
