Actress and comedian Gaby Köster (62) has found solace in spirituality following her stroke. She shared her heartfelt journey in an interview with "Bunte" magazine. Prior to the stroke, she had a spiritual inclination but discovered a deeper connection to healing stones, Tarot cards, Aura Soma, and chakra treatments.
Gaby Köster, wheelchair-bound since 2008, has a new book to be released in early June titled "My Energy Transition." She is quick to clarify that she's not promoting esotericism but believes that spirituality can enhance one's life and turn temporary joys into lifelong contentment. She acknowledges the importance of modern medical care, saying "I'm here today due to modern medical treatment."
In an interview with "Bunte," Köster expressed her contentment in life, stating, "I'm happy within the constraints of my abilities. I don't simply resign myself and say, 'this is just how it is.'" She further elaborates, "I keep wishing that my health might improve and that one day, I may be able to walk again. My dream? To one day run across a meadow."
Köster has spoken about her post-stroke experiences in her book "A Cold Would Have Been Enough - My Second Chance," released in 2011, and later adapted into a movie. It was the same year she made her public reappearance.
