Upcoming "Tatort" episode features Ulrich Tukur. - Rammstein's keyboardist sparks controversy

The popular Sunday crime series featuring Detective Felix Murot, played by Ulrich Tukur (66), often sparks debate and discussion, frequently due to its outlandish crime storylines. The recent Murot case titled "Murot and the Elephant in the Room" has already generated anticipation and some frustration.

Recently, it was announced that in addition to musician Heinz Rudolf Kunze (67) and Berlin singer Christiane Rösinger (63) from the Lassie Singers, Rammstein's keyboardist Christian Lorenz, known as "Flake," will be guest-starring in the show.

This news came amidst the ongoing scandal surrounding Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann (61), who made headlines last year over alleged abuses of power regarding female fans during concerts. However, the criminal investigation by the Berlin prosecutor's office was dropped in the summer of 2023.

Christiane Rösinger pulls out

Christiane Rösinger only discovered from the media that Flake would also be in the same "Tatort" episode as her. After a moment of shock, she quickly decided to leave the project. On her Facebook page, she commented on her decision: "I didn't know that and have now decided to cancel. I was looking forward to the shoot."

When asked by "Der Spiegel" magazine, Rösinger reaffirmed her withdrawal and provided additional details. She stated that she didn't want to disrespect the musician and person, Flake, but didn't want to be affiliated with the Rammstein system in any way. "This would go against everything I've been trying to express in my music and lyrics for decades," she added.

Filming for the 14th Murot "Tatort" began on May 22 and is scheduled to end on June 20. Rösinger's decision to leave the production has taken place during the ongoing filming.
