Following a cancer diagnosis - Princess Kate's early June palace comeback ruled out.
The Princess Kate won't return to public engagements until around the middle of June. The 42-year-old, who's undergoing treatment for cancer, has decided against attending the Trooping the Colour rehearsal's ceremonial parade. In her role as the "Colonel of the Irish Guards," she was meant to be the top-ranking royal present at the rehearsal.
A formal statement by Buckingham Palace confirmed this to Daily Mail. There were rumours about her appearance at the event scheduled for June 8th. In the main event on June 15th, King Charles III is set to take part. He'll arrive at the parade along with Queen Camilla, seated in a carriage as a tribute. Trooping the Colour happens annually on June 15th. The monarch, also battling cancer, switched to a carriage last year—his doctors' advice. After the traditional, military procession, the senior royal family members customarily wave to crowds from the palace's balcony.
Uncertainty Regarding Princess Kate's Reappearance
King Charles III resumed public engagements last month following a cancer diagnosis back in February. Announced in March, Princess Kate is undergoing "preventive chemotherapy."
Since then, she's not been seen at any public events. As of yet, it's still unclear when Kate, also known as the wife of heir apparent Prince William, will make her comeback.

Despite the initial speculation, Duchess Kate won't attend the Trooping the Color rehearsal's ceremonial parade due to her cancer treatment. This revelation came after Buckingham Palace confirmed Princess Kate with cancer's decision to skip the event, where she was expected to serve as the "Colonel of the Irish Guards." King Charles III, also battling cancer, will participate in the main event on June 15th, accompanied by Queen Camilla.
