Matthias Reim: A Person of Interest - Performance in Spremberg postponed abruptly.

Concert starring Schlager artist Matthias Reim (66) scheduled for May 31st in Spremberg has been abruptly cancelled. The announcement was made by the event venue Freilichtbühne Spremberg on its website and further confirmed by Reim on his official Instagram account. "Regrettably, the May 31st concert by Matthias Reim at Spremberg can't occur due to a sudden bout of severe respiratory infection."

A new date is set

Despite the abrupt cancellation, there's some good news for fans: a new date has already been set. The cancelled show will be rescheduled to June 28th at the same venue, Freilichtbühne Spremberg. Fans holding valid tickets for the event won't need to exchange them, as they will still be recognized.

The May 1st concert in Eberswalde's Familiengarten and the June 2nd Hessentag show in Fritzlar continue to show on Matthias Reim's schedule, the singer noted on his Instagram. Matthias Reim rose to fame with the hit "Verdammt, ich lieb' Dich" and his latest studio album "Zeppelin" was released as recently as April 26th.
