Nina Dobrev, renowned for her role in "Vampire Diaries," recounted her experience of riding a dirt bike. She mentioned that she only rode a dirt bike once and it led to her being hospitalized, using neck and leg braces.

A recent Instagram post from Nina Dobrev took her fans by surprise when they witnessed the actress in the emergency room, wearing neck and leg braces. She explained how she never knew dirt bikes would surprise her like this.

On a lighter note, two photographs preceded this, showcasing her excitedly gearing up for a dirt bike ride. While dirt bikes aren't road-legal, they're accepted in motorsports.

But, following her adventure, Nina Dobrev found herself on a stretcher getting examined in the emergency room. "How it started versus how it's going," she wrote alongside her share of snapshots.

Though she didn't share any specific details of her accident, Dobrev reassured her fans that she was okay, although she'd face a long recovery period. It's safe to say that her first and only attempt at dirt biking wouldn't be remembered fondly.

A few of her supporters made some humorous comments about her previous "Vampire Diaries" role, as she's a human in real life. Other fans just wished her well in her recovery process.

Nina was born in Bulgaria's capital, Sofia, in 1989. When she was just two years old, she moved with her family to Canada. Advertisements as a teen paved her way into the film industry, and she gained global fame at the age of 20 due to "Vampire Diaries." Playing Elena, a schoolgirl sandwiched between vampire brothers Stefan and Damon, was her claim to fame. After her departure from the show in 2015, she has taken up various film roles, including in "xXx: The Return of Xander Cage" and "Flatliners."
