Law enforcement officials halt American rap artist Nicki Minaj for consuming cannabis.

Nicki Minaj had plans to merely make a quick stop in Amsterdam before performing in Manchester, but police discovered marijuana in her luggage, leading to her detainment.

A representative from the Amsterdam airport divulged only that "an American woman" was detained.

Nicki herself verified these details on the platform X and spoke of joints. Her bodyguard asserted they belonged to him. "Oh, by the way, that's Amsterdam, where weed is legal," she added further.

Minaj had arrived in Amsterdam via a private jet and was set to perform at her "Pink Friday 2" tour in Manchester that evening. June also has performances scheduled in Cologne and Berlin.

The prominent rapper now suspects a conspiracy, stating, "They're getting paid a lot to try to ruin my tour because a bunch of people are jealous of its success and didn't get anything out of it."

She frequently interacts with her fans through social media, boasting more than 28 million followers on X and over 229 million on Instagram. The Trinidad and Tobago-born and US-raised Minaj gained prominence in 2010 with her album "Pink Friday."
