Serving Online Content - Hundreds of extras required for TV series "Euphoria"
To create the TV show "Euphoria," a German adaptation of the globally successful series, over 3,000 extras are needed, as mentioned by Eick & Weber. This production is intended for RTL+.
In the show, the character Mila, a 16-year-old, faces everyday growing-up challenges and increasing weariness while searching for love and comfort.
Approximately 3,000 extras and supporting roles are being sought. Everyone, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, gender, or gender identity, aged 0 to 70, is welcome, even infants. Additionally, there's a requirement for numerous schoolchildren, teachers, handball players, ice hockey players, swimming pool visitors, waiters, and doormen.
Mainly, plenty of teenagers who enjoy partying are required since numerous party scenes are planned. These include a rave, a foam party, and a considerable carnival celebration where costumes are essential.
"Apart from extras, we're also searching for minor roles that will require several shoot days with actors," Eick added. "Those with acting backgrounds are therefore encouraged to apply."
The filming will begin in early July and continue through November, primarily in the Cologne region, Remagen, Duisburg, and Gelsenkirchen. Prospective applicants can submit their information via https://ep.casting-eick.de. The application deadline is on October 31st.
