Actor Heinz Hoenig, best known for his role in "Das Boot," has been in critical condition in the hospital since early May. He's been dealing with both heart issues and a severely damaged esophagus caused by a bacterial infection. Just a few days ago, doctors managed to remove the infection. His wife, Annika Kärsten-Hoenig, initially seemed hopeful about his health, but in a recent update, she shared that his condition has worsened, and a scheduled operation on the aorta has been put off. This news was shared on RTL's "Punkt 7" news program.
