Farmer looks for international spouse

Having two is already too much.

In Guatemala, Andreas struggles with his inner turmoil. At Peter's place in Austria, there are some wet tongue games in the evenings. And Ulrike in Brazil starts to have doubts knocking on her door. In the rural paradise of beating hearts, joy and sorrow grow at the same speed.

On the international love farms, things are starting to get hot for some candidates. Before the end of the farm week, the eager farm owners have to make their final decision (for now). For cocoa farmer Andreas from Guatemala, a huge wall of emotions is building up. The 63-year-old farm owner is caught between Elke and Petra. "I can't and don't want to decide yet!" explains Andreas. The clearly disappointed ladies are left empty-handed again when it comes to making a decision - a situation that Elke is no longer willing to accept. The 63-year-old ends it in front of the competition: "I'll clear the room and give you the chance to get to know each other better."

Elke's sudden departure is not the only blow to the confused Andreas. Petra also has doubts. With a loyal puppy dog look and a first physical contact, Andreas replies: "Look into my eyes and feel my hand. That's how you recognize the truth!" The farmer tries his hand at being a sweet love poet - with success. At least for the moment.

Farmer Peter in Austria is also sowing the seeds of impatience. Farm lady Alisa needs to feel that she is "the one." After a hearty lunch feast of pancakes, the dairy farmer takes his two ladies aside and gives himself a jolt. Undertaker Stephanie loses out in the race for Peter's heart. The smart goth lady takes it in stride and makes way for the delighted Alisa, who not only redeems her farmer two hours later. All it takes is a quick wink from Peter and Alisa's tongue is down the farmer's throat. It seems that there's nothing standing in the way of a happy, pink future.

Who wants to eat fried giant snails?

At Philipp's in Togo and Gerfried's in Styria, the farmyard ladies are fighting for every minute of "airtime." At riding instructor Gerfried's, 31-year-old Angelika in particular pushes insistently and regardless of losses into the spotlight. Nicole, who is almost twenty years older, vehemently opposes this with critical glances. But at the end of the first day, Gerfried only has eyes for the young Austrian with the full lips.

In Togo, yoga teacher Susanne is pushing herself more and more into the limelight.

A few thousand kilometers further south, the shy Caro is increasingly in need of attention. The much more brash Susanne impresses Philipp not only with her independent sanitary solutions on site but also by eating fried giant snails. The (too) animal-loving Caro ("I'd rather have a plate without snails") can't quite keep up.

On Madeira, lady-in-waiting Sarah has no one to fear - and yet the mission "happiness in love" is going anything but smoothly. The screw in the gears that isn't turning is called Markus. The 40-year-old singing bowl expert only receives "friendly vibes," which means that at the end of the day, the waterfall excursion followed by a visit to the restaurant is accompanied by awkward silence. Farmer Fritz has also remained silent so far. After two "baskets" and a "family-related exit," the Swiss man who lives in France now wants to give it a try with 35-year-old Julia from Hesse. Over Camembert and white wine, the shy farmer sends out the first signals: "I'm a good listener!" reveals Fritz. Julia gives a bright smile.

"I feel like my head is about to explode!"

There are also lots of smiles in lovely Brazil. Organic farmer Ulrike's Bavarian farm boy has every reason to do so far. When Heiko switches into flirt mode, Ulrike can hardly resist. But the tide turns during the relaxed mango harvest. Ulrike reaches her emotional limits more and more. The widow doesn't know what to do with her feelings: "I feel like my head is about to explode!" cries the passionate jam cook. Ulrike finally breaks down in front of the interview camera. "I don't know if I'm ready for all of this yet. But I also know that my husband up there wouldn't want me to stay alone," says the 57-year-old farmer. So much suffering and so much happiness so close together. Just like in real life.

Organic farmer Ulrike has her first doubts.
