Johnny Wactor, recognized for his role in the American soap opera "General Hospital," was gunned down in Los Angeles. The actor, who was also featured in the supernatural show "Siberia," was only 37 years old.
His mom informed the American news outlet "TMZ" that the incident happened early in the morning on a Saturday in downtown LA. Wactor was accompanied by a fellow actor when they noticed three guys fiddling with his car. Although the authorities have yet to disclose his identity, the description aligns with an incident involving three suspects allegedly attempting to steal a catalytic converter. The Los Angeles Police Department shared that officers arrived at the site around 3:25 am close to Pico Boulevard and Hope Street. Upon reaching the crime scene, they discovered a man with a gunshot injury. He was taken to a nearby hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
The suspects had already fled the scene, and their arrests are still pending, according to the police. The investigation is still in progress. The account alleges that Wactor did not aim to resist or stop the men, yet they still shot him.

He was one-of-a-kind and it was a treat to work with him daily. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones during this challenging time."
Johnny Wactor was born on August 31, 1986, in Charleston, South Carolina, and made his television début in the drama series "Army Wives" in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, he took on various guest roles in several episodes. In 2013, he starred in the supernatural drama "Siberia," which had a single season run. Between 2020 and 2022, he starred as Brando Corbin in the series "General Hospital." He featured in 164 episodes of the long-running ABC soap opera. He also had roles in various other TV projects, including "Criminal Minds."
