Gaby Köster desires to cross a lawn once more.
She wouldn't be where she is today if it wasn't for medical school, but Gaby Köster finds solace in her spiritual side. In a recent conversation, the handicapped TV actress shares one of her deepest desires. And she refuses to give up hope that this dream might become a reality.
A few years back, stand-up comic Gaby Köster experienced a stroke and has been confined to a wheelchair ever since. In a conversation with Bunte, she revealed her most fervent dream: To stroll through a meadow once more, she confessed, "that would be one of my wishes." This thought provides her with strength, in addition to her spirituality, which has been a part of her life for a long time. Her stroke in '08 led her to explore various spiritual topics such as healing crystals, tarot cards, Aura Soma, chakra healing sessions.
Her upcoming release, "My Energy Transformation," slated for early June, is bound to make waves. While she isn't promoting any form of esotericism, she is adamant that "spirituality can make life smoother and turn transient joy into profound life contentment."
Köster admits to being content within her constraints. She's not one to give up and believe, "well, that's just how it is". She continues, "I don't give up hope that there may be some improvement in my health and that I might be able to walk again one day."
Köster achieved fame through various TV shows such as "RTL Samstag Nacht," "7 Tage, 7 Köpfe," and her sitcom "Ritas Welt." After her stroke, she penned the book "A Cold Would Have Been Enough - My Second Chance" in 2011, which was later adapted for the big screen. In the same year, she made her first public appearance.
