Ulrich Tukur stars in the ARD Sunday crime series as "Tatort" detective Felix Murot, which often sparks conversations and sometimes controversy due to its intriguing, outrageous crime plots. The newest installment featuring Murot has caused quite the stir—and not just because of the eye-catching plot.
Recently, it was revealed that in the upcoming episode titled "Murot and the Elephant in the Room", not only musicians Heinz Rudolf Kunze and Christiane Rösinger, but also Rammstein's keyboardist Christian Lorenz, better known as "Flake", would make a guest appearance. This news garnered a mixed reaction—partly due to the previous scandals surrounding Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann's alleged abuse of female fans. Lindemann faced accusations of exploiting his power over fans at concerts, but the Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office ultimately dropped the case in summer 2023.
Following the announcement, singer Christiane Rösinger was taken aback upon learning that she would share the same "Tatort" episode with "Flake". Though initially excited about the opportunity, she withdrew from the project. On her Facebook page, she clarified her decision, stating, "I didn't realize that Flake would also be in the same 'Tatort' episode as me. I've now pulled out.too bad, I was looking forward to filming."

In response to a request from "Der Spiegel", Rösinger confirmed her withdrawal and added more context. She clarified that her decision didn't stem from trying to "cancel" Flake, but rather, she didn't want to be associated with the "Rammstein system" whatsoever. "That would go against everything I've been trying to express through my music and lyrics for years," she concluded.
As per reports, filming for the 14th Murot "Tatort" commenced on May 22 and is slated to continue through June 20. Rösinger's exit takes place amidst the production timeline.
