Eminem's daughter gets married
Last weekend, Eminem went to his daughter's wedding. After an 8-year relationship, Hailie Jade happily said "I do" to her honey Evan McClintock. Some famous friends of Eminem also attended the ceremony.
Wow, time sure flies - that must have been what rap legendary figure Eminem thought when he went to his daughter's nuptials last weekend. In reality, it's been 20 years since he wrote the song "Mockingbird" specifically for his daughter Hailie Jade. The 28-year-old shared photos from her beautiful wedding to Evan McClintock on her Instagram, stating, "This week, I became a wife."
In one of the photos, they cuddle romantically under a shower of white roses. The bride's stunning gown with a gigantic veil almost didn't fit in the frame. In other snaps, they hug tenderly in front of a vintage white Cadillac they presumably exited in after the ceremony.
There are no images of her with her dad, butTMsZ(TMZ) got their hands on some pics of the satisfied father. He stands next to his daughter and her new husband-to-be, wearing sunglasses and a serious expression. However, some emotional part of the event reportedly made a few guests cry - Eminem and his daughter shared a dance on stage surrounded by an ocean of white roses.
Famous Friends and Family
The same source claims that several other large names from the music scene were present. Em's close pals 50 Cent and Dr. Dre were tasked with playing the role of witnesses.
Hailie Jade addressed her guests in her Instagram posts, saying, "We couldn't have wished for a more lovely and wonderful weekend celebration. So many tears of happiness were shed, laughter and smiles, and abundance of love was felt. Evan and I are incredibly grateful for all the family and friends who traveled to be there for us, celebrating this new phase in our lives as a married couple."
Hailie Jade and Evan McClintock have been an item since 2016. Back in February of last year, he popped the question to her.
