Chris Martin drove a fan to a Coldplay concert where they were performing.
During an interview with the BBC, 64-year-old Glenn shared her memorable experience at Radio 1's Big Weekend music festival. As she was making her way to the accessibility box office, her osteoarthritis and a painful right hip forced her to stop and sit on a fence.
As she rested, a black Mercedes pulled up next to her, and a woman offered her a ride. Glenn, surprised, said she wouldn't be able to get in as the passenger was Chris Martin. To her surprise, they responded by saying she could indeed sit beside Chris.
Glenn revealed she was contemplating returning home to watch the concert on TV, feeling it might be a safer option given her physical limitations. However, her love for Coldplay and the possibility of a once-in-a-lifetime local performance led her to accept the ride.
While making Martin chuckle, Glenn confessed, "I'm 64, Chris. I don't do festivals. I've come just to see you, and now I've seen you, I can go home." But Martin's kind acts didn't stop there. When they arrived in the artist area, he didn't abandon her; instead, he instructed someone to get a golf buggy to ensure she was transported safely to her destination.
When contacted by CNN for comment, representatives for Martin have yet to respond. Glenn went on to relish the festival, admiring it as the "coolest" she'd ever attended.
