King Charles throws a bash in his garden for artists, fashionistas, and cultural icons. At Buckingham Palace, this monarch becomes a generous host, serving tea and cake to his distinguished guests.

The do, co-hosted by the Department for Culture, Media, and Sports, sees 4,000 attendees from the fields of arts, heritage, film, broadcasting, and fashion, according to palace's Instagram post. Snaps reveal the King, alongside wife Camilla and son Prince Edward, having a jolly time chatting with the attendees.

King Charles donned a gray cutaway suit, a silk vest, a patterned tie, and a top hat. Camilla wore a pink midi dress with a floral brooch and a cream-colored hat.

Prominent guests included TV host Maya Jama, actor Toby Jones, presenter Tess Daly, comedian Sir Lenny Henry, and model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The latter looked stunning in a floor-length, curve-hugging gown with a matching cape and fascinator.

The Daily Mail reported that other attendees included British actor-comedian Bradley Walsh.

Following cancer diagnosis, King Charles avoided public engagements for a while. His physician advised refraining from them during treatment. However, he's back on the royal itinerary. In recent days, the 75-year-old has been busy visiting various locations like churches and palaces for royal engagements. Just this week, the couple also attended a church service as part of awarding the Order of the British Empire, and he unveiled his first Kingly portrait. Plus, Charles bestowed medals at Windsor Castle.
