Dementia Disorder - Bruce Willis' portrayal of a grandfather blooms.
Since the 1980s, Bruce Willis has been known as one of the greatest action stars in Hollywood. However, news broke out last year that the iconic actor had been diagnosed with dementia and would not act again.
Since then, his daughters Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout Willis have shared numerous health updates and emotional messages about their dad in interviews and on social media. On a recent episode of the American show "Today," Rumer, the eldest daughter, talked about their family life with her ailing father for a change, providing mostly positive insights.
During the show, Rumer described how touching it was to see her father Bruce playing the role of a doting "grandpa" after the birth of his granddaughter Louetta in April 2023. She mentioned how he was doing great and that Lou was just starting to walk. "I saw him briefly before I arrived in New York," Rumer recalled, "and it was so heartwarming to see her go over to him. It felt like a full circle moment."

Seeing him so cheerful in spite of his illness triggered pleasant memories from Rumer's childhood. Bruce will always be a "daddy's girl" who cherished every minute spent with his children. In Rumer's perspective, grandfatherhood is one of the best phases of life. "They have all the love and joy without any of the responsibilities. They can just spoil them."
Now, Bruce Willis is also caring for his two youngest daughters, Mabel (12) and Evelyn (10), who he shares with his wife Emma Heming-Willis. Previously, he was wedded to his co-actor Demi Moore from 1987 to 2000.
