Bruce Springsteen: Renowned Musician - A temporary halt caused by vocal issues.

Rock legend Bruce Springsteen (74) has been forced to cancel two more concerts due to health issues. After abruptly calling off his show in Marseille on Saturday, his performances in Prague and Milan are now also cancelled. The "Boss" was slated to perform with his E Street Band in Prague on May 28, 2024, and in Milan on June 1 and 3.

Springsteen's team made the announcement on Instagram, stating, "Due to vocal problems, further investigation and consultations with healthcare professionals have led to the decision that Bruce will not perform for the next ten days."

Refunds for Prague and Milan concerts

New dates for the concerts at Letnany Airport and the Milan San Siro Stadium will be released soon. Ticket holders can get a refund for their purchases at their original point of purchase. Despite the setback, it's reported that the recuperating Springsteen is doing well. The European tour will then continue as planned on June 12 in Madrid. The only German stop on the tour is scheduled for July 5 in Hanover.

Health problems have hampered the Boss's latest tour

Springsteen had to abandon the US leg of his world tour in September 2023 due to a stomach ulcer. This led him to postpone all planned dates in his home country until the end of the year. At the start of spring 2024, he returned to Phoenix, Arizona, after recovering.

The stomach ulcer has been causing him severe vocal problems over the past year, causing excruciating pain in his vocal cords. In a radio interview during his return to the stage, the singer admitted being terrified at the thought of never being able to sing again.
