"I think some people now know that I'm usually the first to hit the dance floor and encourage many people to dance," says Yvonne Catterfeld.

Melodies or Tunes - Yvonne Catterfeld typically takes the lead when it's time to dance.

Singer Yvonne Catterfeld doesn't hold back when it comes to grooving. "By now, it's common knowledge that I'm usually the one to step onto the dance floor and encourage others to join," shared the singer from Erfurt, Germany (44) with the German Press Agency.

In the music video for her new single "Move," she showcases her dancing abilities. To balance her roles as a musician and on television ("The Voice," "Wolfsland") with her family life, the mother of a 10-year-old son has strict guidelines: her son and family come first.

She prioritizes whether an agreement lines up with her responsibilities as a mother and her son's wellbeing. "Consequently, I often have to say no - which can be frustrating. However, the family takes precedence, and luckily, I have very understanding management."

Catterfeld's albums "Meine Welt" (2003) and "Unterwegs" (2005) topped the charts. Her most recent album "Change" dropped in 2021. Now, she's planning additional singles, a fresh album, and a tour set to kick off in spring 2025.
