At Euro 2024, Spain's prodigy Lamine Yamal shattered records by being the youngest player to represent a men's European Championship team. Just 16 years, 338 days old, he overtook Kacper Kozłowski of Poland, who was 17 years, 246 days old when he played against Spain at Euro 2020.

In his debut match against Croatia, Yamal not only made history but also provided an assist in the first half. He crosses the ball into the box, setting up Dani Carvajal for a goal, making it 3-0 at halftime.

Yamal has previously broken records, becoming the youngest player to play for Barcelona and to start a 21st-century La Liga match.

In his inaugural season with Barça's senior team, he played 37 La Liga games and ten Champions League matches, ending the campaign with seven goals and ten assists across all competitions.

With his football talent, both Barcelona and Spain are optimistic that this teen sensation can help them win trophies in the foreseeable future.

Despite the immense pressure, Yamal has demonstrated this season, particularly with impressive outings in the Champions League, that he isn't afraid to shine on the biggest stages.

Recently, former Barça head coach Xavi praised Yamal, stating, "I believe he's extremely mature and can already make a difference for us. We need to look after him, but I'm not scared to entrust youth."
