Dennis and Benni Wolter - World Wide Living Room

Dennis and Dennis and Benni Wolter (33) have delivered happy news to their fans. After bidding farewell to their video format "World Wide Wohnzimmer" on Funk, the online content network of ARD and ZDF, the future of "WWW" is secured.

The entertainment show will air new episodes starting on Thursday, 15. August and then every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on the streaming service Joyn. Joyn announced in a statement a "long-term partnership" with the twins and entertainers and revealed 156 episodes. The new Wohnzimmer is already set up. In a statement, Dennis and Benni Wolter said: "The 'World Wide Wohnzimmer' is finally home: In the Home of Entertainment! We are currently packing our most popular formats and new ideas from the moving boxes and are very much looking forward to the grand opening on 15. August."

In an Instagram clip, the two also announced themselves "from the other side", where football cult fan VfL-Jesus brought them the good news that they could now choose their own path due to their good deeds on earth.

When it came to ending "World Wide Wohnzimmer" on Funk or continuing it on Joyn, the brothers quickly came to a consensus: According to "our rules", the two want to continue the format. The conditions: "We can invite whoever we want and film whatever we want. The YouTube channel will also remain. And we want to run on TV, at ProSieben. And of course, there is 'World Wide Wohnzimmer' on Joyn for free and without a subscription." Deal!

In the format, the duo welcomes guests from various fields for interviews and challenges them in quiz rounds or crazy talk games in their "living room". Among the popular formats of the show is the music quiz "Guess the Song".

"Grown out of the target group"

Funk and the Wolter twins ended their collaboration after seven years. Funk, as the content network of ARD and ZDF, had the mission to reach 14- to 29-year-olds. "'World Wide Wohnzimmer' and its community have grown out of this target group", it was stated in a message on 9. July. Since 15. January 2017, the channel has been part of the network and "has significantly shaped the entertainment genre on YouTube. Since then, almost 1,600 videos have been published on YouTube." Over half a billion views and over 65 million hours of watch time have been generated. The last video was published on 17. July.

  1. Fans of Dennis and Benni Wolter can now enjoy their entertainment show on the streaming platform Joyn, as announced in a long-term partnership between the twins and the service.
  2. Starting from August 15th, the new episodes of "World Wide Wohnzimmer" will be aired on Joyn every Thursday, Monday, and Friday, ensuring the future of the popular format.
  3. In an Instagram clip, Dennis and Benni Wolter announced their new beginning, expressing their excitement about moving to Joyn where they can choose their own path according to their rules.
  4. The Wolter twins have revealed that their YouTube channel will remain in operation alongside the TV show on ProSieben, Joyn, and other platforms, allowing them to reach a wider audience.
  5. The "World Wide Wohnzimmer" format, which welcomes guests for interviews and quiz rounds, will continue on Joyn for free, providing hours of entertainment for viewers who have grown fond of the popular personalities and their unique show.
