Bares for Rares - Woman falls over Waldi around the neck - sells it to someone else

A husband and wife named Franziska and Sandro Kirsch want to sell a bracelet called an "Armreif" at "Bares für Rares". They received it as a wedding gift from Franziska's father, who was a goldsmith master. However, Kirsch has discovered that her grandfather didn't make the jewelry. Now she wants to find out where it originated.

Heide Rezepa-Zabel cannot answer this question but praises the beautiful chainwork adorning the bracelet made of 585 gold. It is a magnificent piece of craftsmanship that Rezepa-Zabel dates back to the 30s and 40s of the 20th century. She describes the condition as "tip-top".

"Bares für Rares": Waldi plays with the jewelry

Franziska Kirsch approaches Walter "Waldi" Lehnertz directly in the dealer room and hands him the jewelry box – although he isn't particularly known for his jewelry passion. Waldi starts playing with the bracelet right away, causing Franziska to exclaim in alarm: "Waldi, don't damage it!"

Daniel Meyer tries on the bracelet and starts the bidding at 800 Euro. "That's not even the gold price," Kirsch rejects the offer. Both Waldi and Lisa Nüdling bid as well. Nüdling offers the desired 950 Euro, but Kirsch now wants more. When Meyer raises the bid to 970 Euro, she still isn't willing to sell. Finally, Sarah Schreiber enters the bidding war with 1000 Euro, and the sale is made.

Before leaving the room with the 1000 Euro, Kirsch asks, "Waldi, may I squeeze your hand again?" Waldi responds happily: "Of course!", boasts to his colleagues: "You're jealous again!"
