"Who cooks the best for the guests?" - What's behind the new cooking show

Frank Rosin (57) is taking on a new challenge. The well-known chef will showcase his cooking skills in "Who Cooks the Best for the Guests?" (airing weekly starting July 3rd at 8:15 PM on Sat.1 and a week before on Joyn). A rival chef and an honest jury await him.

"Six of the most famous celebrity top chefs will face off against me and my team. It's going to be fun," Rosin promises in an Instagram post. In each episode, a colleague will challenge Rosin. Together, they must present their dishes to 33 guests, who, according to the announcement, will evaluate the host qualities and, of course, the dishes of the contestants as the jury. The chef who has the most viewers on their side after the third course wins the duel. For the first duel, Alexander Herrmann (53) will face off against Rosin. The Franconian chef is an old hand in cooking television.

Since 2013, he has also been part of the "The Taste" coaching team and has already won several times in Sat.1's cooking show with his team. So far, this has been denied to Frank Rosin. He has been part of "The Taste" since its first season but took a break in the spring of 2023. Rosin is known for his shows "Rosins Restaurants - A Michelin Star Chef Cleans Up!" or "Rosins Heroes' Kitchen."

Among them are Cornelia Poletto (52), Johann Lafer (66), Ali Güngörmüs (47), Mario Lohninger (50), and The Duc Ngo (49). The show will be moderated by Jana Ina Zarrella (47). The former "Love Island" moderator brings culinary TV experience with her: Since 2022, she has been a jury member on "Grill den Henssler."
