Job opportunity for Joachim Llambi arises. - What will he do on "Let's Dance" in the future?
It's been announced that Joachim Llambi (59), the original from "Let's Dance", will be taking on a new role at "Riverboat" in the future. This long-running MDR talk show shares its time slot with the RTL dance show on Friday evenings. So, are fans worried that Llambi will no longer be a part of "Let's Dance"? Well, they can rest easy, as he himself reassures them.
"The 'Let's Dance' family can breathe easy"
"Yep, 'Riverboat' airs on Friday evenings - similar to 'Let's Dance' - live," says Llambi from RTL. "And the 'Let's Dance' family doesn't need to worry. The timing is perfect, and I'll be part of 'Let's Dance' forever!" Leaving the jury wasn't even considered an option, as it was only reported in February that Llambi, Motsi Mabuse (43), and Jorge González (56) had extended their contracts with RTL. "We signed the contract a year early before it was set to expire, so we can tell you all about it right now," said González. The jury won't be changing like underwear, adds Llambi.
Happiness all around
"Now the news is out sooner than expected, and I'm thrilled!" says Llambi. "I'll be joining the amazing talk show 'Riverboat' on MDR this fall." He's excited to meet his new co-hosts Kim Fisher (55), Klaus Brinkbäumer (57), Matze Knop (49), and Wolfgang Lippert (72), as well as the amazing 'Riverboat' viewers.
People who have been guests on the show have already started leaving comments on his Instagram post. Dancer Detlef Soost (53), who was a participant on the most recent season of "Let's Dance", wrote: "Great! I'll come by then. Congratulations." "Cool! We'll probably see each other there in the fall. No need to worry: I won't be dancing there," says "Let's Dance" participant Biyon Kattilathu (40).
