Welcome to the inaugural evening of rose ceremonies on The Bachelorette.

Turning up the heat in the villa! The suitcases of the contestants barely hit the floor before the verbal sparring begins. Joining the fray are Powergirl Aysun and dashing lads Bennett and Musty.

Bashful serenader Devin is "taken aback" while hunky Bennett needs a "reality check" first. Initially, the male contestants are left dumbfounded as the ladies make their entrance in the villa. The fierce competition in revealing outfits makes it clear who'll be calling the shots in the villa in the coming days.

Aysun, a former beauty pageant contestant who was once named "Princess Charming", wastes no time in voicing her opinions. When Bennett, who ended up cutting himself thrice while chopping veggies during the icebreaker dinner, mentions "dangerously sharp knives", the down-to-earth Aysun chimes in. She warns that such words could potentially hurt someone dealing with a mental health issue. While Bennett and Musty fail to understand her argument, tensions escalate. And so, the first major rift occurs.

Mental health awareness

Aysun feels saddened that the men refuse to engage in constructive criticism. Bennett and Musty, on the other hand, voiced their disapproval of being silenced during internal communication rounds. "If I speak my mind to my friend and use the word 'crazy', I don't intend to offend anyone else in an unrelated discussion," Bennett retorts, defending his choice of words. Fortunately, social worker Leila acts as a referee and successfully manages to calm the situation.

The uneasy calm doesn't last long before another discussion triggers a new wave of tension. A rumor spreads that the Bachelorette might be open to exploring ostensible relationship models. The news ignites a wildfire among the male contestants who struggle to accept the idea of sharing their ideal woman someday. Chatty Leila incorporates some relationship insights, but her efforts to soothe the waters fail miserably. "Monogamy is indeed a heteronormative concept," Leila's statements echo across the villa, leaving the muscle-bound men confused and overwhelmed.

Aysun remains a captivating presence

The concept of an orientation triangle (lesbian, bisexual, and heterosexual) throws some contestants out of their comfort zones. Cheeky Aysun, however, gleams with anticipation. The Mannheimer native has her eyes on multiple contestants: "Relistically speaking, the likelihood of some attraction developing among us women is quite high. I'm open to exploring these feelings," Aysun candidly admits.

The first night of roses sees the Bachelorette arriving in a shimmering, tight, mini-two-piece. As expected, the room falls silent as jaws drop below the floorboards. "Her aura is breathtaking!" raves entrepreneur Markus. Fabian, a blond-haired location manager from Dortmund, can hardly contain his excitement: "She's as radiant as a diamond!" During the group discussion, the Bachelorette reiterates that she's searching for her soulmate, someone who truly complements her.

"But I find it challenging to specify how I'd like to nurture my future relationship since it depends on my partner," the Bachelorette says. With the first round of seven roses awarded, Aaron, Bennett, Fabian, and Luna find themselves left empty-handed. Orphaned by a solitary rose, the situation grows tense as only one more rose remains to be handed out.

Aysun advocates for mental health sensitivity, expressing concern that Bennett's use of certain words could be harmful to someone dealing with such issues. During the conversation about relationship models, Leila highlights the concept of monogamy being heteronormative, causing confusion among the male contestants.

In the villa, LGBTIQ people like Aysun are open to exploring their feelings, challenging some contestants' comfort zones with the mention of an orientation triangle. The various contestants express their admiration for the Bachelorette, but as the first round of roses approaches, several contestants find themselves without a rose, causing tension to rise in the villa.

Prior to the chaos unfolding in the villa, a toast was proposed.
