Wagners win with Orlando - Schröder loses with Toronto

World champions Franz and Moritz Wagner have led the Orlando Magic to a clear NBA victory against the Milwaukee Bucks and their star Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Berlin brothers scored 24 and 19 points in the 112:97 win. Franz Wagner also had six rebounds and three assists, while his older brother Moritz had four rebounds and one assist. His 19 points were also his best of the season.

It was the Magic's fifth win in their ninth game of the season. Despite Antetokounmpo's 35 points, the championship contenders from Milwaukee were only ahead in the first quarter and otherwise constantly trailed the convincing hosts.

The evening went less well for national team captain Dennis Schröder. After two recent victories against the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Mavericks, the Raptors failed to get going at all in Boston and trailed throughout the last three quarters. Schröder finished with 14 points and 4 assists, while Jaylen Brown was the best scorer for the Celtics with 29 points.

In the NBA, Moritz Wagner and his brother Franz, both playing for the Orlando Magic, continued their impressive performances, outshining Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Milwaukee Bucks team in a 112-97 victory. Meanwhile, Dennis Schröder, the German captain of Toronto Raptors, struggled to contribute significantly as his team lost to the Boston Celtics.
