Things are going really well for the German NBA pros on Wednesday. The four world champions all win with their teams. A series continues for the Wagner brothers.

Wagner brothers and Orlando extend NBA winning streak

Basketball world champions Franz and Moritz Wagner have won with the Orlando Magic in the NBA against the defending champions and secured their fifth win in a row.

Franz Wagner scored 27 points in the 124:119 win against the Denver Nuggets led by Nikola Jokic, while Jokic scored 30 points for the Nuggets. Moritz Wagner also impressed once again with 12 points in 15 minutes on the court.

Schröder also wins with Toronto

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors, led by world champion captain Dennis Schröder, won 132-131 away from home against the Indiana Pacers, who have been so strong so far. Schröder scored 26 points, while his team-mate Pascal Siakam was the best scorer with 36 points.

The fourth German world champion in the NBA also picked up a win. Daniel Theis won 109:102 with the Los Angeles Clippers at the San Antonio Spurs. Theis, who only moved from the Pacers to Los Angeles last week, scored eight points and had a strong eleven rebounds.

In the top game of the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics beat the Milwaukee Bucks 119:116. Boston led by 21 points at one stage, but the Bucks only reduced the lead towards the end and made the game exciting once more.

Franz Wagner's impressive performance in the NBA continued as he scored 27 points, helping the Orlando Magic extend their winning streak to six games in the league, defeating the Denver Nuggets.

Despite not playing for the Orlando Magic, Franz's brother Moritz also contributed to a NBA victory, this time for the Toronto Raptors, who secured a narrow win against the Indiana Pacers with Dennis Schröder contributing 26 points.
