Verstappen also wins race in Brazil
Max Verstappen has won the São Paulo Grand Prix and extended his record with his 17th victory in the 20th race of the season. The three-time Formula 1 world champion from the Netherlands relegated British McLaren driver Lando Norris to second place in his Red Bull on the circuit in Interlagos.
Verstappen had already won the last sprint race of this year's motorsport premier class the day before, ahead of Norris. Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin came third in the Grand Prix. Nico Hülkenberg was twelfth in the Haas racing car.
Two Grand Prix are still to come this year: The premiere in Las Vegas in two weeks' time and the finale in Abu Dhabi the following weekend.
Max Verstappen's win in the São Paulo Grand Prix marks his 17th victory in Formula 1 this season, making it a significant accomplishment in the world of motorsport. Lando Norris, the British McLaren driver, had to settle for second place in the GP Brazil, unable to challenge Verstappen's dominance in the Race. In the same competition, Nico Hülkenberg finished twelfth, adding to his points tally in the ongoing Formula 1 season.
