Unveiled: The Globally Acclaimed Most Inviting Hotel for 2024
The Royal Mansour Marrakech, nestled within the historical walls of ancient Marrakech, is being recognized for its "exceptional" service.
This luxurious hotel, composed of a set of private riads, has been chosen as the recipient of the Art of Hospitality Award by World's 50 Best Hotels before the official list release in September.
Premium Experience
Situated on six acres of lush gardens, Royal Mansour Marrakech is considered a "symbol" for the luxury hotel industry due to its "extraordinary" hospitality and meticulous attention to detail.
Inspired by the idea of creating a "medina within a medina," the secluded resort boasts a network of hidden tunnels and "clandestine" entrances that contribute to offering guests exclusivity and maximum privacy.
As per the World’s 50 Best Hotels Academy, comprising around 600 "anonymous" hospitality experts worldwide, Royal Mansour Marrakech stands out for its exceptional hospitality and warm welcome.
"Royal Mansour Marrakech exceeds expectations by providing each guest with their personal palace and private butler," states Emma Sleight, Head of Content at World’s 50 Best Hotels, who commends the hotel's resilience after a 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit central Morocco last September.
The Marrakech Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site dating back centuries, was one of the areas heavily impacted by the quake.
"Despite the earthquake's challenges, the Royal Mansour team continues to provide a superior guest experience," mentions Sleight.
Ultimate Gem
To determine the winner, academy members were requested to name the property that offered the "most remarkable hospitality experience" within the 18-month voting period, focusing on its atmosphere, delivery of "unforgettable experiential components," and the overall warmth of the hospitality and environment.
Jean-Claude Messant, Managing Director of the Royal Mansour Collection, expresses his "pride" for the award, previously presented to Scotland's five-star Gleneagles Hotel in 2023.
Messant attributes the award to the "outstanding" team at the five-star resort for consistently delivering "unmatched warmth, hospitality, and service" for their guests.
"Our main goal is for every guest to leave our hotels with unforgettable memories from their stay," says Messant, who describes Royal Mansour Marrakech, complete with four high-end dining establishments, as the "jewel in the crown" of the Royal Mansour Collection.
The renowned Royal Mansour Casablanca, residing at the heart of the Art Deco district of Sidi Belyout, reopened in April, while the beachfront resort, Royal Mansour Tamuda Bay, launched earlier this year.
Last year, the 24-key Italian property, Passalacqua, overlooking Lake Como, was named the top hotel in the inaugural edition of the World’s 50 Best Hotels list, celebrating 50 different hotels from various destinations worldwide.
"Creating unforgettable memories and collaborating with like-minded individuals who prioritize hospitality at the heart of their mission is one of the reasons why people choose to enter and fall in love with this industry. As a result, the Art of Hospitality award proved to be one of the most suitable honors to announce first," concludes Sleight.
The 2024 World's 50 Best Hotels will be unveiled during a ceremony held in London on September 17.
Travelers eagerly await the announcement of the 2024 World's 50 Best Hotels, with the Royal Mansour Marrakech being highly anticipated to maintain its exceptional service and remove itself from the news of last year's earthquake, demonstrating its resilience in delivering a remarkable news-worthy hospitality experience.
In the world of luxury travel news, the Royal Mansour Marrakech continues to garner attention for its unmatched hospitality, setting a high standard for other hotels aiming to achieve the prestigious Art of Hospitality Award.
