- Unparalleled event transpiring here.

Dr. Bob from RTL Jungle Camp is Under the Weather. For two decades, this dedicated medical professional, known as Robert McCarron, hasn't missed a single day at the camp. However, an unexpected turn of events has led to Dr. Bob's absence in the upcoming episode airing Wednesday evening on RTL+.

Host Sonja Zietlow breaks the news, revealing that Jan Köppen will be stepping in, sporting a baseball cap and round glasses to emulate Dr. Bob's Aussie style. On day 14 of the recorded series, Köppen briefs contestants Elena Miras and Georgina Fleur about the upcoming challenges.

Dr. Bob is battling a common cold.

The absence continues in the episode on day 15. According to RTL, the jungle doctor was compelled to take a brief pause during the Legends Jungle Camp recordings to recuperate from a cold. Fear not, as Dr. Bob's comeback is imminent. He'll return to his energetic self and expert knowledge right before the semi-finals, which will be broadcast on RTL+ on Friday evening.

Interestingly, Dr. Bob isn't the only one affected by illness during this Legends Jungle Camp. Jan Köppen too was down with fever and was forced to stay indoors at the start of the camp.

The upcoming episode on RTL+ will be hosted by Jan Köppen due to Dr. Bob's absence, as he's currently battling a common cold. Despite being indoors with a fever at the beginning of the camp, Jan also had to take some time off to recover.
