Henni (Saskia Vester) gets off the Überlandbus from Munich to Bari in Apulia full of excitement for her new assignment. As an experienced nanny, she is heading to a German emigrant family with two teenagers. Rosa Westphal (Clelia Sarto) and her husband Benno (Janek Rieke) run an idyllic olive farm and have high hopes for the experienced caregiver. However, Henni is puzzled as to why the intelligent first-grader Luisa (Laila Padotzke) and the musically talented yet sensitive Julian (Marlon Heidel) need supervision - especially since the family seems to be financially struggling.

In 1966 at Le Mans, Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) decides against all warnings to work with the temperamental race car driver Ken Miles (Christian Bale). Their goal is to win the famous race in Le Mans and defeat Ferrari, despite all the obstacles and unfavorable predictions. The race for the victory is tough and demands everything from them.

Vera Lanz (Katharina Böhm) and her team are called to a scenic forest near Munich. There, the 17-year-old rider Brit Stadler was shot during a ride. The investigation leads to a nearby riding stable, where the two girls spent a lot of time.

René Schilling (David Rott) investigates for his True-Crime Podcast the case of the missing dentist Hammersfahr. Shortly thereafter, only Schilling's empty canoe is found on a lake. According to his editor Frizzi Berger (Katia Fellin), the podcast should be discontinued because Schilling became too aggressive towards Mrs. Hammersfahr (Marie Rönnebeck). However, it soon becomes clear that Frizzi did not tell the whole truth and Schilling had a different plan in mind.
