At the market, Ekki (Oliver Korittke) is attacked by a delinquent taxpayer. Witness Paul Schlachter (Wolfgang Maria Bauer) is slightly injured while trying to help Ekki. Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) takes Schlachter to Dr. Britta Lüders (Brigitte Zeh), who asks Wilsberg for help. An ex-patient named Oliver Busch is spreading lies about her online. Wilsberg promises to look into it. However, when he enters the apartment of the investigative journalist and former drug addict Oliver Busch, he finds him dead.

A shot wakes up Koops (Aljoscha Stadelmann) after a night of heavy drinking in the high seat. The hungover small-town sheriff stumbles upon the biker boss Andy Blome (Nicki von Tempelhoff) in the middle of the forest while looking for his drinking buddy, the forester Heiko (Sebastian Weiss), and finds this very suspicious. Koops doesn't know that Blome is responsible for Heiko's death and is chasing a fleeing gang member (Aurel Manthei), but decides to keep an eye on Andy from now on.

A severely injured unknown man (Matt Damon) is rescued from the middle of the sea by a fishing boat. He can't remember his name or his past. Under his skin, they find an implant with a Swiss bank account number. He travels to Zurich and discovers that he must have been active as an agent in government service and as a hired killer under the name Jason Bourne.
