The country doctor's practice - Turn to Season Three starts still this year
Fans of the primetime series "Die Landarztpraxis" on Sat.1 can look forward to more episodes. As announced on Thursday (11. July), production for the third season of the series starring Caroline Frier (41) as Dr. Sarah König will begin this year.
Over 100 new episodes of "Die Landarztpraxis"
A total of 120 new episodes are planned for the continuation. The second season of the series, whose storyline takes place at Schliersee in Bavaria, is currently still running on Sat.1 until August 28 and is available for streaming on Joyn.
"Die Spreewaldklinik" starts at the end of August
When "Die Landarztpraxis" goes into hiatus at the end of August, viewers will not have to miss a series in Sat.1's primetime lineup. As also announced, "Die Spreewaldklinik" will premiere on August 29.
In it, Sina-Valeska Jung (45) plays the doctor Lea Wolff, who starts a new job and a new home in the Spreewald. Joining her will be Muriel Baumeister (52) as Chief Doctor Dr. Barbara Berg and Karsten Speck (64) as Senior Doctor Dr. Gregor Wemuth. In the first 80 episodes, Dr. Lea Wolff sets out to find her daughter, whom she gave up for adoption as a teenager 20 years ago.
"Für alle Fälle Familie" completes the primetime trio
Moreover, a new Sat.1 primetime series will be created starting next week: In "Für alle Fälle Familie," Anna Angelina Wolfers (45) plays the family judge Julia "Jule" Beyer. The setting is the region around the Mosel. The 80 episodes, which are scheduled to begin in the fall, also feature the actress Isabel Varell (62).
