A Complete Stranger - Timothée Chalamet sings in first teaser
Since early July, filming has wrapped up for the biopic "A Complete Unknown" with Timotheé Chalamet (28) portraying music legend Bob Dylan (83). A definitive release date for the film is yet to be announced - it's likely to come towards the end of the year to cinemas. The production company Searchlight Pictures has already released a first teaser.
Timotheé Chalamet as Bob Dylan
The nearly two-minute clip shows Edward Norton (54) as musician Pete Seeger (1919-2014) introducing a young Bob Dylan to an audience. Chalamet then enters as Bob Dylan and performs "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall", Dylan's song from 1962. While Chalamet sings the hit on stage, the trailer shows clips from the film - including Dylan's journey through New York, performances of the musician, and first images of Chalamet's co-stars Elle Fanning (26) and Monica Barbaro (34).
The teaser ends with a scene where Dylan plays a song for Seeger and his family, and one of Seeger's daughters quips, "Good start."
