Designation 3 within the wilderness encampment - Thrilling arrival of Elena Miras
Just recently, the contestants of "I'm a Celebrity - Showdown of the Jungle Legends" on RTL+ (and the following day at 8:15 PM on RTL) kicked out troublemaker David Ortega (38), and here comes the next camper: Reality star Elena Miras** (32) enters the South African bush - and she's not exactly greeted with open arms.
At the start of the new episode, David is forced to leave the camp. "He just acted out of line," explains Georgina Fleur (34) about his departure. While Giulia Siegel (49) is sad about his exit because she was "entertained by him in every way," Gigi Birofio (25) feels differently: "I hope we never see each other again. End of story." As a result, David's departure fades into the background, and the day's events move forward.
Breaking the rules left and right
And the events for day 3 revolve around breaking the rules in the camp once again. The participants have already broken the rules multiple times by sleeping too much, sharing cigarettes, and, most seriously, smuggling items into the jungle. "I think we're the most lawless jungle camp ever," suspects Gigi, and she's not far off. RTL assigns Winfried Glatzeder (79) to confiscate the contraband, even though he himself smuggled in lighters taped to his behind. Gigi has a similar violation, with another pack of cigarettes. Mola Adebisi (51) has a pair of socks, and Giulia has practically a whole spice rack, including salt, chili, herbs, and even entire bouillon cubes. She doesn't feel guilty at all: "That's not criminal! Criminal is not wanting to help others."
With no spices, the food situation isn't improving. Eric Stehfest (35) earned all 12 possible stars in the first regular jungle trial of the summer special, but preparing the "lavish" meals causes another argument. Mercifully, Kader Loth (51) asks the right questions to lighten the mood: "Imagine we're stranded here after a plane crash. Who would you eat?" Since Winfried is "too tough" for her, she chooses TV Casanova Gigi: "He'd be tender meat."
Meanwhile, Thorsten Legat (55) has other things on his mind. After crying on the second day, he lets it all out again in a night watch conversation with Danni Büchner (46), discussing his violent father who "terrorized the whole family." "Not much love, more punishment, and you don't forget that," he recalls through tears. Danni can empathize with his pain and feels "a special bond" to the former footballer, as her childhood was also marked by violence.
A Giulia Siegel for certain moments
On day 3, Giulia reveals some secrets in an unusual way: She unveils that she has a channel for men with a smoking fetish. "I'm the most famous smoker in Germany," she emphasizes - her unique smoking style is popular, and she is often used as a masturbation aid. "There could be 3,000 to 4,000 people who just want to watch me smoke."
At first, her smoking behavior draws attention only because Giulia refuses to follow the rules despite the mentioned rule violations. When Danni points out that she should not share her cigarettes, she shows no remorse: "I manage my addiction as I see fit." In an interview, the DJ lashes out at her opponent: "I will not have a discussion with people who are weaker than me, either verbally or intellectually." She handles the situation similarly when Sarah Knappik (37) addresses the sharing of her luxury item. "Giulia cannot handle criticism," Kader rightly observes.
Georgina and Danni impress in the test
The next test in the Legends' jungle camp is upon us. This time, production chooses Georgina and Danni, currently close friends, for the task. While Danni, who has the most jungle tests ever, takes it in stride, Georgina is nervous beforehand. On the way to the test, she cries: "I don't know why, but everything is just so terrible. [...] Everything is so horrible here." The dirt in the jungle and the negative atmosphere are getting to her.
However, surprisingly, all is forgotten during the test. Georgina, who has to roll through a packing station on a skateboard and retrieve keys from boxes - naturally filled with snakes and various other creatures in true jungle camp fashion - fights bravely and without much fuss. Meanwhile, Danni sits in a box that also fills up with vermin and catches her teammate's keys blindly. The two surprisingly do quite well - until Georgina starts to falter. Fish guts are too much for her. "One must admit, she's being a bit dramatic now," comments moderator Sonja Zietlow (56). Nevertheless, they manage to secure six stars and are more than satisfied. Upon their return to the camp, however, there's a nasty surprise waiting: Elena Miras has arrived.
And then Elena Miras arrives
In the first two episodes, one thought where Elena was - on the third day, she finally makes her appearance. Danni Büchner, who had many problems with her during her first jungle participation, is particularly happy to see her: She is simply "wrong." Nevertheless, the TV star is also there "to simply have a good time," as she explains.
As Georgina and Danni complete their test, the other campers gather around the jungle phone, only to find Elena at the campfire upon their return. The reactions are diverse: Thorsten Legat views her as a significant competitor, while Giulia Siegel is elated by her presence, describing her as a "wonderful woman." Elena herself isn't sure why she joined the group so late. She shares with the others, "I'm here as a surprise for my best friend, Danni."
The welcome they receive is as chilly as the jungle night. The two reality TV stars initially avoid each other, but eventually, they give in to a hug. Contrary to expectations, there's no heated argument between Elena and Danni; instead, it's between Elena and Georgina. Georgina, still pissed off from her three-day delay in entering the jungle and luxurious hotel stay, snaps, "What the hell is going on? Why are you here now? Can you explain this?!" Her inquiry grates on Elena's nerves. Georgina's negative mood and immediate demand for a good sleeping spot don't help. Danni, on the other hand, remains diplomatic, proposing a bed rotation. "I think this is just a temporary truce for now," Mola muses. Will the former enemies successfully maintain this truce?
In the midst of rule-breaking chaos, Elena Miras enters the camp, causing mixed reactions. Giulia Siegel welcomes her warmly, while Georgina expresses her frustration at Elena's late arrival.
During the trial, Georgina and Danni, despite their initial nerves and struggles, manage to secure six stars, leaving the campers in awe of their performance.
