Three NBA pros kicked off the court before the first basket
NBA stars Draymond Green and Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors were ejected from the court before the first basket. Jaden McDaniels of the Minnesota Timberwolves also had to go to the dressing room on Tuesday evening (local time) with the score at 0-0.
His tugging on Thompson's jersey had triggered the scuffle between the two teams after just 103 seconds. Green had Frenchman Rudy Gobert in a headlock at times. After viewing the video footage, the referees decided on penalties for McDaniels, Thompson and Green. The other professionals continued to play. The game in San Francisco was part of the new NBA tournament.
Despite being part of the new NBA tournament in San Francisco, the game was disrupted early when Jaden McDaniels from the Minnesota Timberwolves was temporarily removed due to an incident involving NBA star Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors. This incident led to the ejection of both Thompson and Warriors teammate Draymond Green, all happening before the first basket was made.
