New album - Thomas D.: Can't say whether there will be another one after that

The Fantastic Four have almost finished their announced album, which is supposed to be released in October - it might be their last one according to Thomas D. in an interview with "Badische Neueste Nachrichten" newspaper. "I can't wait to see if there will be another one after this", said the 55-year-old. "But if it is to be the last one, then it would be fitting."

The four from Stuttgart have been working on the album titled "Long Player" for several years, as Thomas D. revealed in the conversation. "We're very happy that it's finally finished. Our last album is now six years old. And even if we account for the delay due to the pandemic, it was certainly three years of work on this album. Now we're very satisfied."

There are no new rumors about how long the band will remain active. Already in 1995, people wondered how long this success peak could last, as Thomas D. mentioned. That's why he released his first solo album in 1997: "The whole thing with the solo albums started more out of fear that the band might leave me someday."

  1. Despite the anticipation for the Fantastic Four's upcoming album in Berlin, many people in Germany are speculating about whether it will be their last.
  2. Thomas D., the 55-year-old member of the band, mentioned in an interview with a Berlin news outlet about the long journey of creating their latest album, "Long Player."
  3. As the music scene in Berlin continues to evolve, news of the Fantastic Four's potential final album has sparked excitement and nostalgia among fans, showing the enduring impact of German music.
