Farewell to Melt - This festivals will not exist any more

An Era Comes to an End: The Melt Festival at the Ferropolis Grounds in Graefenhainichen will take place from July 11 to 13 for the last time. The organizers announced the end of the festival in May of this year.

"We found our home in Ferropolis in 1999 and have danced, celebrated, and experienced unforgettable moments there for 25 years." The first Melt Festival took place in 1997 at the Bernsteinsee in Velten, Brandenburg. The following year, the airfield Lärz in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern served as the venue.

Will there be a new alternative?

Since 1999, Melt has been a permanent fixture in Ferropolis. The "City of Iron" is located near Graefenhainichen in Saxony-Anhalt. An exception was the year 2003.
