Florian Silbereisen and Anna Ermakova: a new pairing of talents. - They put out a collaborative song.

Anna Ermakova (age 24) and Florian Silbereisen (age 42) are taking their singing careers seriously. They've released a duet called "Something Stupid." It's a remake of an old classic that they recently performed live.

Previous Performances

The original song comes from Carson Parks, an American songwriter born in 1936. It gained fame when Frank Sinatra and his daughter, Nancy (now 83), sang it in 1967. Another famous rendition is by Robbie Williams (50) and Nicole Kidman (56), who also recorded it in the 2000s.

Silbereisen and Ermakova became the latest artists to record the love song after performing it spontaneously on stage during "The Great Schlager Surprise for Florian Silbereisen" back in March. The audience loved it so much that they re-recorded it in a studio and released it on May 31st.

Possible Performance at "Schlagerbooom Open Air" on Saturday

It's possible that the two might give another performance on Saturday. Ermakova has already been announced as an act for Silbereisen's "Schlagerbooom Open Air" event in Kitzbühel on June 8th. She'll be singing one of her new songs at the rebuilt tennis stadium.

Other performers for the event include Melissa Naschenweng (33), Andy Borg (63), Rainhard Fendrich (69), Andrea Berg (58), DJ Ötzi (53), Howard Carpendale (78), Kerstin Ott (42), Ben Zucker (40), Marianne Rosenberg (69), voXXclub, Mickie Krause (53), and Alexandra Hofmann (50). Silbereisen announced this on Instagram.

The annual Schlager party will be broadcast on the First channel on June 8th at 8:15 PM. There's even a dress rehearsal on June 7th, and tickets are still available.
