## TV Programme should also offer variety in the summer. viewers can look forward to several new television shows with familiar faces. These TV highlights will spice up summer evenings.

"Murmel Mania"

"Murmel Mania" starts on 12th July on SAT.1. Four episodes will be shown every Friday evening during primetime. Host and game leader Melissa Khalaj (35) has invited twelve famous guests for the Murmel game. On the first night, musicians Michi Beck, Sasha and Tom Beck have to prove themselves. One week later, on 19th July, chefs Frank Rosin, Steffen Henssler and Ali Güngörmüs will participate. On 26th July, comedians Ilka Bessin, Paul Panzer and Chris Tall promise to be especially funny. The finale on 9th August will be joined by presenters Mareile Höppner, Panagiota Petridou and Jeannine Michaelsen.

"Splash- The Promi-Pool-Quiz"

With "Splash- The Promi-Pool-Quiz", Sophia Thomalla (34) presents a new show on RTL. A total of 40 celebrities have been invited by the moderator. They must undergo a knowledge test on 24th and 31st July, both at 8:15 PM. In ten rounds, the celebrity teams will be tested and compete against each other. While a team does not know the answer, they have to go swimming. Reality TV stars like Paul Janke, Claudia Obert and Filip Pavlović, as well as former professional athletes like Nadine Angerer, Philipp Boy and Pascal Hens are among the participants.

"Wunder unserer Erde - Das große Geo-Quiz"

Sonja Zietlow (56) and science journalist Dirk Steffens (56) return with their joint RTL show. In July, the show "Die große GEO-Show - In 55 Questions about the World" becomes "Wunder unserer Erde - Das große Geo-Quiz". The show, which RTL airs on 20th and 27th July at 8:15 PM (also on RTL+), will have a new orientation. Three celebrity duos will compete against each other in quiz and action rounds in the studio and "discover the wonders of our planet". Each show, the celebrities can earn up to 30,000 Euro for a good cause. The following pairs will participate in the first show: Ilka Bessin and Sasha, Tom Beck and Motsi Mabuse, and Michael "Mimi" Kraus and Matthias Steiner.

"99 - Wer schlägt sie alle?"

A new name, a new moderator: "99 - Wer schlägt sie alle?" enters its fifth round in August. The new season starts on Thursday, 15th August at 8:15 PM on Sat.1. For the first seven episodes, Panagiota Petridou (44) will guide the show with Florian "Schmiso" Schmidt-Sommerfeld (34) as a commentator. "It's a great honor for me to moderate this insane, funny and emotional show", Petridou is quoted as saying in a press release. It was already known in March that Sat.1 would change the name of the show from "99 - One:r schlägt sie alle!" to "99 - Wer schlägt sie alle?". The rules remain the same: In seven episodes, 100 candidates compete against each other. In the final duel, the best one can win 99,000 Euro.

"The Tribute - The Show of Music Legends"

With "The Tribute - The Show of Music Legends", RTL presents a new show in July. The exact date and further details have not been announced yet. Stay tuned!

The new Sat.1-Show "The Tribute - The Show of Music Legends" with moderator Matthias Opdenhoevel (53) is also starting. From August 16, Singer Yvonne Catterfeld (44), Eurovision Song Contest icon Conchita Wurst (35), and Bertram Engel (66) will be searching for the best cover band in Germany. Sat.1 presents the five episodes each Friday at 8:15 p.m. The three-member jury will then evaluate the voice, sound, and performance of twelve music groups. Among others, cover bands of the Beatles, Fantastic Four, Amy Winehouse, Roxette, Robbie Williams, Peter Maffay, Sting, Hot Chocolate, Rod Stewart, Udo Lindenberg, Maroon 5, and Bon Jovi are participating. The winning band will receive a special prize: a concert in front of up to 5,000 spectators at the RuhrCongress in Bochum.
