"We've Got a Long Journey Ahead"

- "There's still a considerable distance to cover" or "We're far from reaching our goal".

The small Welsh town of Llanelli was buzzing today, not just for Prince William's visit to the "Swiss Valley Community" primary school, but also for his anticipated response to the family video his wife, Princess Kate (42), released the day prior.

Some local residents welcomed Prince William with get-well cards for his wife. He thanked them, saying, "I truly appreciate it." When inquisitive Llanelli resident Pauline Thomas, aged 74, asked about Kate's video, he told "The Sun": "It's good news, but we've got a long journey ahead."

Post-school visit, William, as the patron of Air Ambulance Week, made a brief stop at the Wales Air Ambulance headquarters. He then headed to the Llanelli Scarlets' stadium to show his support for the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup in Wales. Even there, the prince appeared relaxed and at ease.

Video breaks royal norms

Princess Kate shared an unconventional video on Monday, detailing that her cancer treatment, including chemotherapy, had concluded. This video exceeds the norms of royal announcements, sparking international fascination with society experts. The footage captures intimate moments of the five-member family, such as strolls through the forest or by the cornfield. Their children are seen more frequently and more privately in this video, with Prince William lying beside Kate on the ground and even giving her a cheek kiss – a significant departure from traditional royal presentations.

"I can't put into words how relieved I am"

In the viral video, Kate narrates her cancer journey from treatment to the present day. "As summer draws to a close, I can't put into words how relieved I am to have finished my chemotherapy," she says. "The last nine months have been incredibly challenging for our family. Life as we knew it can change in an instant, and we've had to figure out how to sail through stormy waters and an uncertain journey." She's now concentrating on "doing everything I can to stay cancer-free." She also admitted that she still has a long journey ahead for full recovery. Warm messages of support poured in for Kate, William, and their children from royal fans worldwide.

In the viral video, Kate mentioned having a long journey ahead for her full recovery. During his visit to the Llanelli Scarlets' stadium, Prince William expressed his support for the 2025 Women's Rugby World Cup, demonstrating his continued strength and solidarity with women.
