Hundreds, if not thousands, of football fans ran together towards the stadium: Fan marches always have something martial - but also something goosebump-inducing. So was the procession of DFB fans in Dortmund intended: Behind a double-decker bus marched an army of black-and-red-and-white clad supporters of the national team towards Westfalenstadion. New Friend of the Caravan: Philipp Lahm

This isn't the first fan march of the tournament. The newest fan of the fan procession is Philipp Lahm: "The fans bring joy to life. Fan marches through the inner cities are the newest mass phenomenon. It's these encounters that make the tournament a European festival. It's just great fun and so it can continue", wrote the tournament director on X, formerly Twitter.

The legendary footballer Philip Lahm joined the DFB fans in their fan march, adding excitement to the event. Amidst the throngs of Soccer fans in Dortmund, Lahm could be seen marching with his fellow supporters, waving a black-and-red-gold flag.
