- The Unusual Luxury Goods of All-Stars
The Summer Jungle Camp is ready to go: "I'm a Star - Showdown of Jungle Legends" premieres on August 15 on RTL+ (also available on RTL from August 16). This all-star season, featuring 13 former contestants, was recorded without live audience voting, which will change the camp dynamics and jungle trials.
As reported by RTL.de, there are no fixed rules that usually apply in the camp. However, one rule has made it into the legends' jungle: the celebrities could bring two luxury items with them to South Africa. The stars are focusing on cosmetics - one camper seems content with their choices.
Care and Comfort Take Priority
According to RTL.de, reality star Gigi Birofio (25) is starting with a tanning spray and hair wax, which could be one of the most unusual luxury items in South Africa. Similarly, actor David Ortega (38) with Spanish roots is taking a German and a Spanish flag. DJane Giulia Siegel (49) is traveling with bronzer and baby powder. Former "Bachelor" contestant Georgina Fleur (34) can't live without her eyelash serum and red lipstick, and reality queen Kader Loth (51) isn't giving up on makeup entirely with her eyeliner and concealer.
Former "GNTM" contestant Sarah Knappik (37), moderator Mola Adebisi (51), and Mallorca expat Daniela Büchner (46) seem to have learned from their first jungle trip, focusing on comfort and quiet with pillows and earplugs. Dating show veteran Elena Miras (32) also wants comfort with a pillow and will be seen with a stuffed animal of her daughter. Former "GZSZ" actor Eric Stehfest (35) has a pillow of his daughter and a heart necklace of his wife as reminders of home.
Former "Big Brother" contestant Hanka Rackwitz (55) is relying on eyeliner and a pillow. Former footballer Thorsten Legat (55) is satisfied with a lip balm for his sensitive lips, and actor Winfried Glatzeder (79) is even skipping a luxury item on his "path of self-discovery".
I'm not sure if the new rules will affect the camper who brought a stuffed animal as a comfort item. Despite the absence of live audience voting, it's uncertain how the celebrities' luxury items will impact the camp dynamics.
