Joko Winterscheidt (45) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (40) aren't simply sitting back and relaxing with their shower sketches from "Das Duel um die Welt" (ProSeven) or "Joko & Klaas gegen ProSeven." This winter, the amusing duo from Berlin will launch a new game show.
The upcoming game show, "Das Duel um die Geld," will be broadcast on the ProSeven streaming service Joyn. The show features Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf, who also entertain on their joint Instagram profile, inviting friends and other well-known faces from the entertainment industry to play. This continues the success of the nine episodes that aired from February 2016 to June 2017 on ProSeven.
About the Game
At this game night event, moderated by Oliver Kalkofe (58), trivia meets bluffing. In a fashionable poker setting, well-known personalities are quizzed, and their correct answers are revealed at the poker table. These celebrities from film, TV, and music battled for a jackpot of 6,000 euros. The format was a spin-off from their late-night show "Circus Halligalli" (ProSeven).
Celebrities who joined in during the original run included actress Nora Tschirner (43), satirist Jan Böhmermann (43), and singer Lena Meyer-Landrut (33), who served as a coach for "The Voice Kids."
