The German Football National Team kicked off the Home European Championship with a convincing win. The team coached by Julian Nagelsmann won the opening match on 14th June in Munich against Scotland 5:1 (3:0).

In total, 51 matches are scheduled: In the group stage, the 24 EM participants faced each other in six groups. The Round of 16 started on Saturday, 29th June, and the final is on Sunday, 14th July.
