This was supposed to be a fun-filled event, lavish, lively, and full of nostalgia from the illustrious days of the Jackson Five. "Our aim is to unite everyone in camaraderie and tranquility," Marlon, Tito, and Jackie Jackson had declared prior to their sole Germany concert in Munich. They had graced the stage there in 1972, still accompanied by their brothers Jermaine and the future King of Pop, Michael. Fifty-plus years later, fans were eager to groove and enjoy some groovy tunes on a Tuesday night at the Circus Krone. Regrettably, many anticipations were dashed.

The setlist, the glitzy-glam suits, and the familiar steps - everything was spot on. It was almost unbelievable that men in their 70s were performing, they executed the moves so elegantly. Taryll, Tito's son, also fit right in, as he joined The Jacksons.

However, there was one major flaw - the sound system. Giant speakers blared booming bass, forming an ear-splitting soundscape. The artists valiantly attempted to sing against it, but their voices consistently got drowned in the chaotic mix of sounds. Even softer songs like the well-known and ethereal "I'll Be There" were engulfed by the grating clash.

The Jacksons encapsulate a blend of soul, pop, funk, and rhythm and blues. In the '60s, the brothers commenced their musical journey, initially it was Jackie, Jermaine, and Tito. With Michael and Marlon, they transformed into the Jackson Five and signed a contract with the renowned soul label Motown in 1969, initially under the tutelage of soul queen Diana Ross. Their inaugural single, "I Want You Back," was a hit.

With over 100 million records sold, they became one of the most successful bands in pop history, while Michael Jackson embarked on his solo career and achieved global stardom.

Despite the faulty sound system, fans still enthusiastically swayed to the distinctive beats of ['Music'] like "I Want You Back" and "ABC." Regardless of the noise disruption, the enduring charm of ['Music'] by The Jacksons reignited nostalgia among their devoted followers.
