"Separated Forever - The House of those Forgotten," now has the final two episodes available on RTL+. The tenth episode sees the remaining four ex-couples vying for a place in the deciding game. Which duos make it and who takes the top spot?
In the game "Calm down please," the ex-couples played a game of skill, balancing eight balls on a table. The pair of Mike Cees (born 1987) and Michelle Monballijn (born 1979) took the longest and unfortunately left the villa in fourth place. In the next challenge, Melina Hoch (born 1996) and Tim Kühnel (27), Tommy Pedroni (29) and Sandra Sicora (32), and Chiara Föhlich (26) and Lukas Baltruschat (30) battled it out. This game, "Drive the car but don't go too far," required the couples to arrange letter balls with a golf cart, with the women giving the men mirror-reversed driving instructions. Despite an emotional rollercoaster and some tense moments, Sicora and Pedroni impressed with four correct answers and were confirmed as finalists.
And the victors are...
In the semi-final round, it was all about paddling SUP boards to gather balls and using nets to collect them. Hoch and Kühnel showed true determination and pulled off a plot twist, making a return to the villa after their initial elimination. This win also granted them the opportunity to compete in the final.
With no time for rest, the final saw each pair attempting to build a stack of blocks on a board and maneuver it from one station to another. There were challenges for both teams, but it was Hoch and Kühnel who displayed the necessary calmness and carried their stack to the goal successfully. Their hard work earned them a prize of €11,000 (€10,000 for the final game plus €1,000 from team games). For Kühnel, who had been almost eliminated, the victory brought unique satisfaction, leaving the villa with his former partner.
As for the couples' aftermath, Sicora expressed "more than a little affection" toward her ex-boyfriend but perhaps ran into complications since Tommy was with someone new. No emotions remained for him. Hoch and Kühnel could shuffle off the stage with a good feeling of moving on. The deepest resentment lingered between Föhlich and Baltruschat. She hoped for an apology and a return to normalcy, while he hoped to move on without any leftover feelings. However, if he remained in her life, she could only regain her strength.
