Creator of Stranger Things - The Duffer Brothers are producing a new Netflix series

Probably next year, the successful Netflix series "Stranger Things" with season five will come to an end. The Duffer Brothers Matt and Ross (40), who came up with the Retro-Mystery-Show in the first place, will then turn to new projects. According to US industry magazine "Variety", one of these projects is a new horror series for Netflix. It is called "Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen".

About "Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen"

During the production, it is supposed to be about "an atmospheric horror series" that takes place during an unfortunate wedding and in the week before the wedding. As the series title suggests, something terrible will happen here.

Behind "Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen" as showrunner is author Haley Z. Boston, who previously worked on the horror series "Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities" and "Brand New Cherry Flavor" for Netflix.

New clip for the final "Stranger Things" season

Netflix released a behind-the-scenes look at the production of the fifth and final "Stranger Things" season on July 14th. The two-minute long video features numerous cast members such as Millie Bobby Brown (plays Eleven, 20), Finn Wolfhard (Mike, 21), or Winona Ryder (Joyce, 52) during filming. "The shoot is halfway done," says Caleb McLaughlin (22), who plays Lucas in the Netflix series, in the clip.

Some new additions to the cast can also be spotted in the video. So, Nell Fisher ("Evil Dead Rise", 12), Alex Breaux ("Waco: The Aftermath"), and newcomer Jake Connelly can be seen joining the series' cast. "Terminator" star Linda Hamilton (67), who has been a new addition for over a year, says in the clip: "I love the show so much. I'm a fan."

The Duffer Brothers, known for their 'Success in welterweight' in creating hit shows, are set to conclude 'Stranger Things' with season 5. Their upcoming project on Netflix, titled 'Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen', is a chilling horror series with an atmospheric setting. Following their departure from 'Stranger Things', the creators will stream their new project on Netflix.
