- The date for her VOX return is set.

Even years later, many a long-lost cat has found its way back to its old home - why should it be any different for Germany's most famous TV cat? As VOX already announced in mid-June of this year as part of an extensive preview for the 2024/25 season, Daniela Katzenberger (37) will be treated to a sequel to her last docu-soap, which aired on RTL. Initially, it was only said that this would happen later this year. But now, the cat is out of the bag: It starts as early as September 6, that is, in just over a month.

Under the simple title "Daniela Katzenberger," she will then grant insights into her busy family life during primetime at 8:15 PM, and even kick off with a double episode. RTL+ subscribers can watch the episodes a week earlier.

According to the sender's statement, Katzenberger will explain in the docu, among other things, why she now feels like a grandmother due to a particular family addition. She reveals that her husband, Lucas Cordalis (57), would like to see a few more pounds on her, and mourns the fact that their daughter Sophia is moving away from the family's favorite color, pink.

Moreover, a significant meeting was captured by the cameras: On her birthday, mother Iris Klein (57) introduced her fiancé Stefan to her daughter Daniela, whom she had not yet met. She immediately swore him in as the future stepfather, explaining what it means to be part of the Katzenberger/Klein clan: "It's not easy with us. You're not just marrying the family, you're also marrying the public, the paparazzi, and the camera crew."

Special Return

Katzenberger's career began many years ago at VOX - and already then with a docu-soap called "Auf und davon - Mein Auslandstagebuch." In 2009, the now 37-year-old was accompanied on her way to becoming an internationally known "Playboy" model. Exactly 15 years later, she will again be accompanied to Los Angeles and in front of the Playboy Mansion in the new episodes on VOX. This fact sets Katzenberger's mind racing: "What might have become of me? I might be a jobless bunny without a man or a child?"

After "Auf und davon," she was seen in the format "Goodbye Deutschland! Die Auswanderer," following her as she opened a café on Mallorca. In 2010, she finally received her own soap on VOX: "Daniela Katzenberger - natürlich blond."

In 2015, Katzenberger switched to the RTLzwei channel, where her family foundation with Lucas Cordalis was extensively explored. This included various forms of her docu-soap, such as "Mit Lucas im Babyglück" (2015), "Mit Lucas im Hochzeitsfieber" (2016), "Mit Lucas im Weihnachtsfieber" (2016), and "Daniela und Lucas - Der erste Hochzeitstag" (2017). The most recent spin-off from this series was "Daniela Katzenberger - Familienglück auf Mallorca."

Despite her previous stints on VOX and RTLzwei, Daniela Katzenberger's highly anticipated return to television will air on RTL, using the RTL+ service for early access. Interestingly, this special return to the small screen willsee Katzenberger retracing her steps to thePlayboy Mansion in Los Angeles, similar to her early docu-soap series, now 15 years later.
