Caution: Spoilers for the initial four episodes of the third "Bridgerton" season

"Dear, lovely Penelope Featherington, will you become my wife or not?" This is how the first portion of the third Bridgerton season concludes, as Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton, 31) asks Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan, 37) following a spectacular carriage excursion.

The new season three trailer for Bridgerton reveals that Penelope appears to have accepted the proposal. Relatives and other members of London's high society are elated with the news. Portia Featherington (Polly Walker, 58), Penelope's mother, looks astonished.

Does Eloise Bridgerton disapprove of Penelope's romance?

But Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie, 34), who was formerly Penelope's good friend, seems less than thrilled about the engagement news. Eloise is one of the few characters in the show who knows that Penelope's intended is none other than Lady Whistledown.

"Do you think he knows you're Whistledown?" Eloise confronts Penelope in the video. Penelope then pleads with her former best friend not to unveil her identity. However, Colin starts to grow suspicious. In the trailer, he inquires of Penelope as to where the ink on her fingers originates from.

The concluding four episodes of the third Bridgerton season will be available on Netflix starting June 13th. There's also confirmation for Bridgerton's fourth season. So it will carry on.
